Students have now completed their Business Studies syllabus and the following focus areas will be covered in the Summer Exams:
- Business Environments and the Economy
- Production Department (Cost a product & understand costs)
- Marketing Department (Marketing Mix & Branding)
- Finance & Accounting Department (Sources of Finance)
- H.R Department (Recruiting new staff, training and motivating)
Please note that your exam will be marked on 80%. 20% is allocated to class projects and assignment work from throughout the year. Best of luck on your revision.

Students have now completed section six of the Business Studies course. Students understood different business and accounting terms along with where a business can source finance and who the lenders of finance are.

Each student has created an Economy Table based on a country of their choice showing the industries for each Economy Sector.
6. What the Production Department does:
- What are the costs - Fixed and Variable Costs
Each student created their own Product Cost Sheet showing the costs for making their own product. A sales price was added to calculate what profit would be made on producing the product.
